Hey,

So I recently moved my computer from downstairs to upstairs and when I plugged everything in the Monitor says DVI no signal. I tried the monitor in another computer and it works. I have tried a plethora of suggestions so far and none have worked.

I have tried re-seating the Ram, res-eating the graphics card, Mobo turns on with fans and lights and only beeps once, tried HDMI / VGA wires

I am about to take out the CMOS battery and see if that does anything, however I just bought this ASUS Z97 a month ago so it shouldn't be anything like that.

I am hoping the person taht actually moved the computer did not shock it I asked him how he turned it off and he said he just flicked the switch on the power surge then unplugged everything

First to define if your motherboard is fine, remove rams and power it on. It should start beeping on regular intervals.
If you hear beeps, mobo should be okay, put one ram stick in and try to start again.
Check if all the cables are seated good, especially those from PSU to motherboard.
If you have external graphic card, try to use the integrated one, sometimes motherboards/video cards fail to start the proper display adapter/output, so motherboard may be using the integrated graphic card instead of the external one.

And before doing anything of this, remove the power cable from PSU and LAN cable if you have one, push the power button on PC like you are trying to power it on and then wait for 3-4 minutes.
