PC will not post. Trying to determine if the problem is cpu or motherboard related.
Symptoms:
- will not post
- no beep code given
- all case fans, cpu fan, psu fan and gpu led illuminate
RAM has been ruled out.
I'm just wondering since all the fans plugged into the mono still work is it more likely that its cpu related? It could just be the bios chip that died and as such it may not affect the fan headers or power supply to the pcie slot but I'm not sure. Any ideas to trouble shoot beyond buying a new mobo to test it?
