Hello People,

I have a problem with windows 7. Windows 7 is on my SSD. I have switched HDD's (SSD + HDD AHCI). But now i only got my SSD in. The BOOT time is normal but the "starting windows" is very slow. Once i come by the screen were i can login. It takes a while for my RAZER DeathStalker to go on. Once i login everything is going fast. Idk what caused this problem. But i hope u guys can help me out.

~ Thanks

Hey there, electromechanical!

I'd suggest you to check if you've got TRIM enabled for the SSD. Is it connected to a SATA III port on your motherboard?
Another fix you can try is swapping between "Enable/Disable of write caching on the device" and check the boot time in both modes.
You should also check this tutorial and make sure you've completed all the steps there: http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! :)

Thanks. Somehow i fixed it. I unplugged my PC from the power. And check everything. Couldn't find something weird. Now it start-up normally and fast. think taking the pc from power fixed it :s
