Hello,
So I have a self-built PC that has ran like a dream (for the most part) for the past 4 years. Main Specs: 1000 W Corsair PSU, EVGA GTX 580, i7-960 processor running Windows 7 64-bit.

Anyway, it was running fine and then out of nowhere my computer froze and restarted, then it would never get into windows, after the "windows loading" screen, I'd hear a beep, and the PC would restart and try over and over again to boot.

Things I Tried:
- Cleaned out PC with can of air
- Made sure everything was plugged into the mobo tight and didn't slip out perhaps from a move or bump
- Fresh install of windows 7, which allows me to boot into windows, everything works fine installing drivers and re-starting and re-booting through each series of drivers. UNTIL I install the drivers for my graphics card. I tried using the latest Nvidia drivers for my card, I've even tried using the drivers from 2014 and various times of 2015 and every time that driver installs that's when I can't boot again.

I see a black screen after windows loading, and then restarts. I'm force to boot in safe mode, system restore back to before the graphics drivers were installed.

I have also tried to install mobo drivers before the graphics drivers, same issue.

NOTE: At times before the graphics drivers are installed, it will boot 8-bit (I think) where everything is different colors of blue and really bad graphics, as if I'm using a 1990 computer running Original Windows.

Anyway, is there anything else I should try? is this a clear sign it's time to get a new GPU?

Thanks a bunch

Solution
Remove the Graphic Card from the Mobo and then get into safe mode, uninstall the NVidia Graphic Driver, install the onboard graphic driver. Check the Graphic card on another system. Issue seems to be related to Graphic card. Also check if the Graphic Card is heating up or if the Cooling fan of the Graphic card is stopping in the middle.
