Need some help with a build

Hi, I need some help with my build. I have linked a pcpartpicker build below.

As you can see I am missing a case, disc-drive, memory etc. and that is for the simple reason that I already own these components (something to note is that my psu is a 650W and that I have a midtower case).

I am just wondering if my choice of cpu, cpu fan, mobo, ram and graphic card is all right. I am very open to suggestions.

As a side note I am contemplating if I should get a corsair H100i instead of the 212 EVO, I am trying to save as much cash as possible, but can get one if it is necessary.

Thanks beforehand

No I think you have a good build going. After you build it you can always try using the 4GB RAM module, but it may reduce overall efficiency if the RAM timings are not the same as your G.SKILL ram.

You can just add your old parts just to check for compatibility. Just find the names and add them to the list. I DO NOT suggest old PSU because they can cause shortages and are NOT reliable and would just recommend getting a new psu.

Yeah, I know. But it is more expensive than the VI, I also have not had time to do the research needed to justify the difference in price/performance...

If the OP already has the VI then there is no need to get the VII. I just mentioned that the VII is newer, that's all

Added them all now, could not find the name for some of them but the only part where there might be a compatibility issue would be the ram (I think).

Is it necessary? I am definitely going to upgrade the RAM since 4 Gb is apparently too little this day and age

It would be nice to, but 12 Gb ram is not necessary, I´ll be perfectly fine with 8 Gbs. How do the other parts look? Any suggestions that will make it better without drastically increasing the cost?

I´ll try and remember that when I have built it! Still trying to find the money needed, though I have two summer jobs that will pay for it :p So some time in july perhaps xD
