I start to download the drivers from the disk and sites and when it gets to about 40% of the download I get a BSOD. I honestly don't know what is causing the problem, help would be greatly appreciated!

Hold on, you are installing them from the disk and website? You can only do one, did you install from the disk and upgrade from the website for the latest drivers?

Are you getting BSOD during the INSTALL or DOWNLOAD from the website? If you having problems from the website, just use the disk and install the drivers the card came with. Their control application (ATI Catalyst or nVida GeForce) should be able to check for updates after the original install.

I tried downloading from both the disk and the website. And I believe it blue screens during the download but it may be the install. idk

This still does not make sense. If you have a disk, then install the drivers from that. Don't worry about any website driver download. If you BSOD on a DOWNLOAD, then it is not your graphics card...it is much more. If it BSOD when INSTALLING the drivers, then it might be your compatibility.

Well the blue screen happens from the disk so I tried getting the drivers from the website. The disk and website both give me a BSOD, if I get a blue screen from the download or the install I do not know.

If you are getting the BSOD from INSTALLING the drivers, from both website and disk, then there is a problem somewhere in the compatibility and/or your system cannot handle this card.

Can your PSU support your card and your system? If there is not enough power, this can also cause the BSOD. What is the error reported causing the BSOD?

Did you try calling the manufacturer for advise or compatibility checks? They might know more at this point.

I know that my power supply is capable of handling the card so the problem isn't there. Also I will check to see what the error.
P.S- Sorry for the late reply

UPDATE: The system messages (I think that's what they were called) were Stop: 0x0000007E and atihdw76.sys
