Hello guys! So i decided that i should buy a new monitor for my pc. Its really old and it has the gigabyte radeon hd 4650 graphics card on it(oc). The new monitor has a resolution of 1980x1080 and the old one 1280x720. I already know that higher resolution affects fps but How much will that affect them with such card? I only play league of legends (cant play any other game with such pc) I will buy a new pc but i dont exacly know when. Thank you for your understanding!

Well, considering 1080p has over twice the pixel count, you will definitely see a performance hit, how much depends on the rest of your system, not just your gpu. But then again the 4650 is not a very powerful gpu. However, if you're only going to be playing LoL, you should be fine until you get a new computer. LoL isn't very gpu demanding, but relies more on cpu power (more power thats needed for 720p). Then you can in some cases gain performance, as 720p can in some cases cause a bottleneck with newer hardware.
