Hi, so i am going to be purchasing a gpu next week and was trying to decide on which one. my price range is under $300 so on i had in mind was the gtx 960. My only concern is that i will be upgrading to a 144hz monitor in a couple of months and was wondering if this card could handle games like cs go and league of legends at 144hz and even some older or easier to run triple a titles. Is there any other cards that can handle this better for around the same price? Or should i wait for the new amd 300 series? Thanks in advance :) (Also i am in Canada so everything is more expensive here :()

I am a bit skeptical about GTX 960 2GB. If you can get GTX 960 4GB (in some countries 4GB version is cheaper than 2GB version,if it's like that, then you should grab it), it would be future proof. Otherwise you can look for R9 280 3GB version.

Sadly it is $400 here in Canada same with the 970 but i figure if i wait for a sale or like you said wait for the 300 series then i could get a r9 290 or gtx 970 for around $350
