Evga GTX 970 - Weird HDMI problem

Hello

I have a problem with my GTX 970, i have it connected to plasma TV, and from time to time after i run my TV, my TV just stops creating sound, and i have to re-run my TV. It happens for example when i run some game or from what i remember when i dont touch the mouse for longer time.

Is it hardware or software related?

The problem occurs in both Win7 and Win8.1

Confused. Are you saying you'll watch TV and then switch back over to doing computer stuff and that's when the problem happens? At any rate it sounds like it's a hardware/cable problem. Have you tried swapping cables? Also, are you using onboard sound or an added sound card to your PC?

No, i just have TV connected to PC to watch movies.

I think i know why its hapening, when you dont play any sound for some period of time, the graphic card driver is turning audio off (hdmi audio), you can still see in windows mixer that the sound is produced in system, but not produced by TV anymore

the question is how the hell am i supposed to turn it off?
