I'm considering buying a new videocard supporting UHD resolution. My choice was NVIDIA GTX 970, but I started to doubt if it would be a meaningful purchase, considering my setup:
  • ■ Foxconn G43MX (chipset: Intel G43)
    ■ 4GB of DDR2
    ■ PCIE 2.0 x16
    ■ Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
My questions:
  • ■ How much would the performance of the 970 be affected in a setup like that? I wonder if there have been some benchamarks done.
    ■ If the 970's performance would be serevely affected, what is my "limit" in terms of NVIDIA cards, then?
