Dear Forum Members,

I plan to re-build my PC a bit in the next few days. I will be installing second Asus GeForce 970 GTX Black OC card, running in SLI with the first one as well as changing the power supply unit
and doing some other modifications. I also plan to switch from my BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro3 tower cooling to AIO water cooling mostly because:

- it's huge even though it's pretty silent
- it gets in the way of my Kingston HyperX RAM. There's no way I could instal another 2 RAM
modules with heat sinks.
- I want to get better air circulation inside the case (BeQuiet Silent Base 800).

Could you please help me with a few things listed out below?

1. Water cooling - this is the 1st time I'm considering buying it and there are a few models I was looking into:
- Corsair h105
- Corsair h100i

I'd like to get rid of the stock fans and install 2x Noctua NF-F12 PWN for better performance and lower noise. Is it a good setup?

I was also considering Corsair h110i GT and NZXT Kraken X61 but H110i GT is reported to have leakage problems which scares the hell out of me and Kraken is a bit loud.

My questions are:
- which water cooling would you pick, I just want something with good performance that won't leak and kill my PC. Is 105 better than 100i?
- would h105 + noctua fans be a good setup?

2. Water cooling installation

Should I install it so that the fans are next to the motherboard like here: http://cdn.eteknix.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/DSC_8410.jpg or can I have the fans on top hidden under the top cover?

With 2x 120 fans on top on the radiator do I still need a back fan ?

3. Additional fans:
- I am thinking about installing an additional fan at the bottom of my case to help cool the two GPUs. Would you recommend 120 or 140 mm, BeQuiet Silent Wings 2 or Noctua? PWM or DC?

This way my case would have:
- 2x BeQuiet Pure Wings 120 mm fans in front to cool the HDDs and provide cool air to the case
- 1x 120/140 mm fan in the bottom to provide SLI GPUs with cool air
- 1x 140 mm BeQuiet Pure Wings fan at the back to get rid of the hot air,
- 2x 120 mm Noctua fans on the water cooling radiator.

Is this setup good?

Thank you in advance for all the replies,

Hardware configuration:
- Intel i7-4790K CPU
- 16 GB RAM (Kingston HyperX Beast running at 2,4GhZ)
- ASUS Z-97 PRO GAMER Motherboard
- Seagate Barracuda 7200 SATA-III HDD
- Samsung EVO 850 256 GB SSD
- Asus DVD/CD RW
- Asus GeForce 970 GTX Black OC
- Single PCI-e Wi-Fi card
- BeQuiet! System Power 700W 80+ Silver PSU,
- BeQuiet! Silent Base 800 Case (2x 120 fan + 1x 140 fan)
- BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 tower CPU cooling (2x 120 fan)

Yours faithfully,

Pawel

Thanks man, I'd be really grateful if you could update me how it works for you. I live in Poland and here AIO cooling is still not very popular. I'm afraid these few companies who offer H110i GT online here still have the old stock before Corsair pulled them back and fixed the issue.

I'd really love to hear from you about it concerning the temps and the noise.

Also, what kind of fans would you put on H110i GT if you were to replace the original Corsair's ?

Yeah, I was planning to install 2x Noctua PWM fans on it (either 120 or 140 mm depending on which
cooling I eventually get).

Ehehe :) if you have a rig with an transparent case then maybe colour scheme is something to consider :D As far as I am concerned, they could be pink with little poo logos printed on wings as long as they give me better temperatures and less noise :D
