windows 8 compatibility report error

When im trying to upgrade from windows 7 to 8.1 i got this message:

I got windows 8 installed on a other drive but its too slow, so how do i fix this?

You need to do what the message says.
Start the PC, then insert the install media.

I dont know what the install media is, i got the windows 8 cd in the cd tray when doing the setup.

It seems you booted from that. Don't

Start Windows, then put the DVD in.
