hi my name is suneel.i want to know that by increasing virtual memory increases ram??
i mean going to system properties and advanced and then settings and again advanced and change. by increasing it can i increase my ram. what is meant by that,plzz help. thank you

virtual memory is in case you run out of ram

if you ran out of ram and had no virtual memory then your pc would just come to a halt

its not such a big thing nowadays as modern pcs tend to have plenty of ram

virtual memory is also slower than ram its sort of like a safety net
