which would be better a Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2GB for $250 or a Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2GB for $240

I think you copy and pasted wrong here, I see both cards as Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2GB for different prices. I think you mean't one of them to be the 280. Never-the-less, the 280 beats the 270X any day. My friend uses the Sapphire R9 280 and rocks BF4 on ULTRA at 1080p without a sweat. The 270X can do the same for sure, but less powerful and will not last as long for future games.
