Can you please make this just a little clearer? Did you add a blank second drive to your system, or replace the system drive with a new 4 GB drive and install Windows 7 on the new drive?
I can't imagine that adding a new drive to an existing OS install would make video driver problems; if that's the case you are describing I suggest that you disconnect the new drive, boot, and see if you still have the drive problem. If it goes away, and only happens when the new blank drive is installed, I need a drink.
Question - was the drive factory-new or did it once live in another machine with the OS on it? In the second case, it's possible that your machine is booting from the drive.
The all-purpose solution is to boot the system in safe mode with networking, remove all video drivers, download the appropriate drivers, install them, and reboot. "The appropriate drivers" may be an older version if a just-released version was causing your problem; it's rare but it happens.
