highest graphics card that i can use with asus m5a78l-m/usb3

can any one suggest me the best and highest graphics card that can go with this Asus m5a78l-m/usb3 with PCI express 2.0 X16,,
Or all the grphics cards that can go with it for games, and vfx simulation.

You could basically any modern graphics card in there, the PCI-e 2.0 is not a bottleneck.

The only issue I can think of would be your CPU. What CPU do you have now? Older systems like yours may need an upgrade in the CPU department to make sure they aren't bottlenecking.

Unfortunately, you can't upgrade graphics on a laptop. :(

EDIT: Well, most laptops. IF you can, it's a painful, time-consuming, and expensive process.

I get it has been a while since this tread was used, but I recently got an old PC using a M5a7bl-m/usb3 motherboard with (I forget the exact name) top end amd fx processor and was curious if anybody knew what gpu I could get. I would prefer a more modern one for light gaming but would be happy with whatever I can get.
