Hi
I will start of with my system i have atm...
(Video card) EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB PhysX CUDA.
(PSU) Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU. <-----Heard it's bad PSU? it is true?
(CPU) AMD FX-6300 Black Edition.
(Fan) Cooler Master V8 GTS CPU.
(Monitor) BenQ 21,5" LED GW2250E.

So... I've been playing witcher 3 lately, and i've noticed i have some kind of " horizontal white waves" kind of little bit flickering when i play the game, specially at darker places. They're just more visible at night (In game). but i also noticed them in daylight(in game) but they're just not really visible then. But they disappear when i finish playing every time. those white waves doesn't for example happen when i play league of legends...just those games that require alot of power i think. And i'm thinking it's my monitor & cable fault! The cable i'm using at the moment on my monitor right now is DVI M/M 2m. and the input in back of the monitor is called: d-sub.

I do want to buy new monitor but i want to be sure it's my monitor & cable's fault of those "white waves" but they happen only in spesific games. So PLEASE help me, i'm looking for reply as quickly as possible.
P.S tried to take picture of those "flickering thingy" but it's impossible to see in camera & video also, only naked eye can see those "flickering white waves"
Also apologise if it's some english errors :p
(Didn't know where else to ask) and first time using this website. ^^

Are you sure your using a DVI cable on a d-sub input? Is it some sort of converter cable? If so, maybe it is the cable. Are there other ports to try? Are there any other monitors or computers that could be used to narrow down the causes. Does your monitor have any option called focus in the menu? That has been a source of lines for me in the past.
