I am dual booting ubuntu and kali linux on a hdd. What i want to do is a fresh reinstall of ubuntu and just ubuntu on one disk dirve. I will be reinstalling kali on a seperate hard drive. My question is the best way to wipe the harddrive (all my data is backed up). My first instinct is to used DBAN but my worry is if its unessersary strain on my drive. Or if there another option im forgetting or over looking?
