dear friends,

i have 3 hdd's on my build, i would like to transfer 1 of those hdd's to a newer hdd....i have games installed on that hdd, do i clone it? or do i just copy paste everything, or MUST i install those games over again, to the newer drive with other files????????????????

Hey there, nikospc!

You could clone the drive with your games, but it's highly recommended to do a re-install of the programs/games. Otherwise, it's possible that you might encounter issues with some of the software apps. I guess you could give the cloning a try, using Acronis True Image WD Edition but copy/paste-ing won't work for those program files.

dear supersoph,
i decided to re install an older mobo i have with an i3-2100 chip,, wih a wd black hdd.
ill just reinstall my 2 favorite games,,and copy paste any documents i want :)
