Problems Boot windows 7 proff

I am try to install a fresh version of windows 7 professional and i have tried setting dvd to first boot device. I have also moved the dvd onto different channels and no luck. The system keeps bypassing the install and try to load old windows. The hdd is sata I have also tried 3 different installs of wind 7 and no luck. Also i tried F8 and it spins up just doesnt run install.

Is this a MS provided DVD or one you burned yourself? Have you tried manually selecting the boot device upon posting the BIOS (usually press F10 or F11 on many systems)?

This could simply be a defective DVD that the boot portion of the disk is not being detected.
