Hey guys I just made an account because of this issue I'm having here.
Just bought a new pc
- ASUS Z97- A Mobo
-ASUS 970 4gb Graphics Card
-Corsair RM 850 PSU
-Vengeance 16gb RAM
-Hyper 212 Evo CPU Fan
-i7 4790 CPU
-Corsair Carbide 500r (black) Case

What's weird is that my pc was running perfectly fine with my Corsair k70 red mechanical keyboard and my Deathadder 2013, I had them both plugged into the front USB 3.0 ports on the case, and everything was ok, until I switched the keyboard and the mouse with a microsoft mouse and a Razer Deathstalker keyboard. Once I plugged them in, they didn't work, so naturally I tried different ports, I restarted my pc, I reset the CMOS pins, checked all my drivers, and I checked the USB cord to the motherboard and everything seemed ok, but now the deathadder mouse wont even work on my old pc, and the front port wont support anything I put in it, other than the microsoft mouse. If I use the razer devices in any of the ports on my new pc, they fail to start, forcing me to use other peripherals just to make it into windows without my pc shutting off. I also get the windows message saying there is a power surge to my front hub.

So my questions to you guys are, is there anyway my 3.0 front hub fried my mouse, and is now acting up? Should I buy a new mouse? Should I RMA my case?

UPDATE:
So my usb hub is okay, I plugged it into different usb pins on the motherboard, and I a currently using the old keyboard to type, so that is indeed working, the only issue is that all that drama that happened fried my mouse, and I ordered a new one today.
