i am planning to upgrade my GPU and to buy GTX 960 and i don't know which model should i get and is there a better GPU with the same price range ? i want one that can run for long hours with no problem and play the new games like The witcher 3 and AC syndicate
i am going to buy a new power supply i found a case k380 by cooler master it comes with Extreme Power Plus 500W PSU is it a good one or not ? and if not my current is 450 W do i have to upgrade it too and if yes which model is the best ?

Solution
Cooler Master Supplies have a notorious past and that model isn't even an 80+ model nor is it certified. That means if it pushes out at around 70% efficiency your on the bleeding edge of what a system with light OC requires at all times.

I strongly recommend NOT opting for the case/supply combo and going for a higher quality PSU, as this is one are you want to spend more in. It doesn't mean you have to blow your budget, however aim for a supply that is at least 80+ Bronze rated and made by superflower 8lots of EVGA models are), seasonic (antec edge is made by them too), xfx, silverstone or corsair (rm, hx, ax etc)

On those you can trust the advertised wattage more and be sure you will always have enough power to spare.

As cards go...

You will want that 500w psu. It will suit you just fine. As for your GPU go with an EVGA, MSI or Gigabype model. They have the highest average rating atm. Also the 960 is one of the best bangs for your bucks right now so I would pick it over any other cards in its price range.

As cards go, the 960 is a mid range performer and will run all modern titles on medium to high settings (no AA) at decent FPS. It's a good choice and comes with DX12 support too.

the 4gb version is pointless as that card can not use it.

It is not a card that can max the settings on a high res where the Vram comes into play. 2GB!

On the case, you can get something cost effective like a Corsair 200r or a fractal design r4. Cool little black boxes which will fulfill their purpose.

Make sure the EVGA is not B1 line or lower. Please post the model for help.

The model is EVGA 500W / 80 PLUS Certified / 100-W1-500-KR

Only get the 4GB edition if it isn't substantially more expensive, Actually stutters less compared to the 2GB edition when using more Than 2GB of VRAM.

If the prices are exceed 30USD more than the 2GB models they're a waste of money.
