I was wondering if EVGA 500W Power Supply is good enough to handle the Sapphire R9 290
Tri-x OC.
Here are the specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8320 (Stock cooler)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Ram: 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sports
Hard Drive: Seagate Momentus Thin 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X OC
Case: Cooler Master N300 ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: EVGA 500W.
Please help me out.

R9 290 require a quality 650W PSU with 31Amps or more on its +12V rail.

I would suggest this quality PSUwhich comes under "Tier 2" PSU list, better than what you've selected, that too a 750W for a steal price:

Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $49.99

This 80 Plus Bronze Certified PSU can deliver a mammoth 62Amps on its +12V rail, which is more than enough to power your entire rig. Comes with 5 year warranty.

Admirable
An R9 290 only consumes about 250W at peak during gaming, make that 300W for a good amount of OC headroom. Add that together with a 100W TDP processor and 50W for the whole system. That comes up to about 450W, 550W should be plenty of headroom.

I guess paying a little more for the extra wattage doesn't hurt, though.
