Im looking to get a new graphics card for my rig, i have :

Intel core 2 quad Q9300 (overclocked to 2.7ghz)

Asus P5G41T-LX motherboard

Corsair XMS3 DDR3 (2 x 4GB) 1333mhz memory

an 800w powersupply (i have to pull it out in order to find the name)

and my CPU is cooled by a custom water loop.

I know this isnt the best build but i got the parts for free, so i cant really complain a whole lot, now for the real question, What would be the best graphics card for this build? I would like to finally play Metro: last light, and batman Origins, (which i bought on steam forever ago). So any suggestions?

Thank you for those who reply :D

the 650ti is old i would go for a more modern 750ti or 960, r7 260x, r7 265 if your really on a budget get a r7 250x if less so you can get a r9 290 for 250$ that card is a monster

you can get some sweet deals on craigs list just ALWAYS ask them to put it in a machine and prove it works

Im not very good at overclocking and the board likes to throw fits when i try to overclock more, i tried for a 20% overclock and it yelled at me lol

and wouldnt my CPU bottleneck that high of a card??

man dude never oc more the 7.5% unless you have a HIGH end aircooling unit or watercooling unit the mobo dose not contribute to the gpus ability to oc

I would not bother putting more than a GTX750/R7-260X on a Core2 unless you can get something better for the same price.

Even at 3GHz, the Core2 still bottlenecks old GPUs like the HD5770 much of the time, so there is no point in aiming much higher than that.

I have a custom watercooling loop >.< pumping water quite fast, and a huge radiator, so i figured i would go for it:) and will any of the cards you recommend be bottlenecked?
