A friend of mine would like me to build him a mini-itx pc on a tight budget (£280) and another friend is giving him a GTX 650. He will do light gaming (most likely not games like GTA V) and internet browsing, work and possibly photoshop. And i wanted to know 3 things:

(a) Can I overclock a Pentium G3258 on a Asus H81i-Plus?
(b) Would it perform well (G3258 and GTX 650 (what games could it run))?
(c) Any alternatives for the same price (not including GPU)

Solution
Ah, can you link me the places you are planning to buy them from? I'm afraid I don't know what prices you are looking at or any UK websites to buy from.
A: No
B: Yes it will perform nicely, would most likely play almost all new games out at the very least low settings I mean I have a 6670 + Athlon 2 x3 in my secondary rig and it plays games like Skyrim, Civ V, etc just fine so..
C: Maybe an FX 6300 or an athlon x4 740? I'd still get the G3258 just due to the upgrade path available

Do you know what the cheapest micro-itx overclocking motherboard (UK prices/websites) is? and is there a better CPU than the Pentium G3258 for under £20 more?
