xfx Radeon R9 280 crashes to a random colored screen when playing games

The title says it all. I was playing the witcher 3 with this card yesterday and a little bit over an hour has passed and my screen just immedietly goes to some random color of a screen with verticle stripes. Idk if i need a new graphics card, change my settings, or get a new bios. i've already tried updating my driver but that doesn't seem to work either, im using 14.12 at the moment and this problem has been going on for at least 10 months and this has been really bothering me. Sorry if there are spelling errors, i have to go to work in a bit. Also, when the crash or color thing happens i can still here the audio (song) of the game, but i cant alt + tab or control alt delete

That is the display problem from the GPU.

1) Try use the DDU to uninstall the GPU driver, then reinstall it. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
2) Check the GPU temp by http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html or other software. If it is overheat try use the MSI afterburner to control the fan speed.
3) What is your PSU?
4) Try the r9 280 in other PC, like in your friend PC.

Ok, I've done 1. I'll do 2 tomorrow when i play witcher and I'll tell you what happens.
My PSU is a cx750

@AndrewB0710 I know its been a long time but did you manage to fix the issue? I have the same graphics card and its doing the same thing to me.
