I would like to get the best specs i possibly can for this much. For this PC I would use a 34" UltraWide Monitor (3440x1440) which is not included in my budget. This PC would also be used for music production [FL Studio] which is very CPU + RAM hungry. HDMI motherboard is preferred.. Thanks all in advance.

i'd suggest a samsung 850 EVO or 850 PRO ssd instead the crucial as a sata ssd.
I'd also change that PSU for something higher quality with more headroom, thinking about future overclocking aswell. for example an EVGA supernova G2.
The noctua d15 seems to be a decent air cooling and probably sufficient, but again if you think about overclocking , maybe a liquid cooler is better. the h110i just hit the market if i'm right.

the X99 and 5xxx cpus will provide better performance in multithreaded CPU heavy applications because of the higher memory speeds and the 12+cpu threads. it will be more expensive and i'm not sure it's worth it for you. Actually i dont know how heavy is your FL studio music producing applications... so i cant say anything accurate about that. you should look somewhere on the web for more accurate information about that program.

the 4790K is a cheaper solution and at least identical or frequently better in gaming performance. the reason for this is simple. at the moment the 4790K has the fastest single threaded perofrmance of all cpus. however it has only 8 threads so thats why it could suffer in performance when it comes to encoding for example.

Not for gaming, Z97 will give you better performance in gaming. For heavy threaded multimedia applications like Pro Tools and Adobe CS6 that is where X99 will come in handy.

g-unit1111 did you even read what i wrote before "correcting" it ? :D

anyway i'll try to highlight the important part: ### the 4790K is a cheaper solution and at least identical or frequently better in gaming performance ###

2k? go i7-4790k 16 gigs of ram, gtx 980 and a decent motherboard and cpu cooler. Try going to NCIXUS.com and building one. since its for music 250g ssd and 2-3 TB drive will be plenty.

You're better off going with a z97 build. Its for gaming and just music. Music production takes absolutely nothing of a computer to do.
