new pc build/reusing hard drives

i am in the process of rebuild a new pc an was wondering if i can keep the data on my hard drives without having to transfer or format the drive for new system to detect them. any help be great.

New build, new OS install. Pick the drive you want to install Windows on, save all your data back to the other drives, unhook those once you have everything saved. Hook up the one drive you want to install Windows on. Install Windows, then hook up the other drive(s) and you will be able to access your data. You will have to also reinstall all your applications and programs.
