hey guys i was wondering if my temps and settings are safe for my asus gtx 970 first time overclocking a gpu doing it for 1440p :p

gpu boost clock 1350mhz but gose up to 1427 due to mortarboard GPU boost i think.,. and it ranges from 1350-1427hmz when doing bench marks
memory clock 7600mhz
power target 110
higher temps in benchmark marking atm is 70c

Try to not let the GPU run at over 85C for extended periods. It's safe to go higher, but over time the excess heat and voltage will deteriorate the components. The Maxwell-equipped GTX 970 is a normally cool running low wattage card. Try to get as high an OC as you can with the lowest voltage you can. If you game at 85C+ nearly daily, you will probably want to replace the TIM after about a year. You'll notice temps increasing as the TIM deteriorates.

well it seems like when i am overclocking the card i have it set to 1350hmz but it is boosting its self to 1400-1447mhz and my power target keeps going higher as i bring it up to match what is puting out like when i had thw power target at 100 it was hiting 104 here and there then when i got it up to 105 it was going to 107 ones in a bit then now i have it at 110 then now its hiting 111??
