Hello guys,

I'm very new to the Pc building scene, but I want to know if the build is good and if I should take out anything. This PC will be used to play Cs:Go, GTA V, Stream while playing, and maybe cod games in the future.

Thanks guys and gals!

Your build is fine :D But do you really need a 1TB SSD ? Thats a lot of money that can be directed else where if you drop it to a 120GB SSD or even a 250GB SSD.

Other than that, you might want to use a smaller case, the 750D is a really huge case and your build might cause it to look a bit empty.

You might want to consider changing the PSU to a lower wattage one. Your build isn't going to use nearly half of 1000W at idle or load. Maybe a choose a 750W PSU ? It still gives you a lot of headroom in the event you want to upgrade your GPU to something stronger or even SLI your 970.

Thank you for you answer!!!

The SSD I want 1 TB because I want to get a lot more games that will run fast.

The 750D was a recommendation from my friend, but I really like the window and easy access. Do you have any suggestions for a case?

I will definitely change the power supply, because I thought it was already a 750 PSU, I was not paying attention.

Well fine by me if you want that big of an SSD. Personally I did this for my build. 120GB SSD for the OS as my boot drive and an additional 500GB SSD for my games. Last but not least, 1TB external harddrive for my everyday work files and videos. Runs like a champ and boot time is in the 10s :D

For a case, if you want aesthetic pleasing cases, The Corsair 760t is one hell of a case to build in. Plus that case really give you a lot of room to work with and all. You can google for pictures of the 760t case. If you ask me, I personally use a NZXT H440. Sleek looking with a window big enough to show off all the hardware I have and a huge compartment to hide all my messy cables and ugly looking PSU that doesn't match my build theme. Only problem with this case is that it's a bit of a tight space to work with if you aren't good with building yet.

For me, I'd suggest a 760t from Corsair, Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Full-Tower Case. For the 750D, if you don't have enough hardware inside that case, it can make your system look a bit bare and naked due to it being so large.
