I recently had to replace my old 120gig ssd with a new 240gig ssd after it starting failing so I used windows 7 system image to restore my computer. It's working fine but my computer is reading the new drive as if it was the old one and only showing 111gigs total. Is there a way to get it to recognize the drive correctly or am I at a loss with the extra space?

Welcome, Guy Guyman!

I'd suggest you to check Disk Management in Windows and see if there is any unallocated space to your new SSD or how the partitions are organized. ( http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/disk-management-windows-7.htm )
If there is, you should allocate it first and then the missing capacity should be visible. Here's a tutorial that might help you with that as well: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=D41D6y
It would help, if you could share a screenshot as well.

Hope this helps! :)

It didn't solve my problem but you DID point me in the right direction. By going to that manage area I could click on the already partitioned drive and select "Extend Drive". It gave me my missing portions. Thanks!
