So, a friend of mine has a creeper who keeps stalking her. The cops are looking into him but already he has thrown a vase through their window and repeatedly videotapes my friend. She is looking for a high quality NV camera, and so I have been looking into the Dropcam - Pro Wireless High-Definition(http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dropcam-pro-wireless-high-definition-video-monitoring-camera-black/6419059.p?id=1219217425512&skuId=6419059) is this a good camera?

Is this to get pictures inside or outside the home? A weatherproof camera which can be placed outside will work much better than a camera that has to view through a window.

This would be the step up from your link. It can be mounted outside but has limited night vision capabilities http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0XR-004B-00021

Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881102091 will provide a MUCH better image. It does require a wire (cat 5 POE) but even most of the "wireless" require power. There are a few that will operate on batteries.

I, like to make my cameras visible. I believe that is a deterrent. Others on this board say that visible cameras just become targets.

It seems the second link doesn't work, could you repost it?
