Will the Corsair CX Series Modular CX750M 750w work with the gtx 970

Hi, I don't know a ton about putting a computer together but want to start to do it. I just didn't know if this power supply would work with the gtx 970. I know it's enough watts but will it have the correct cords? I saw that the gtx 970 has two connections for power, I think two 6 pin connections. Will this power supply come with both of those connectors to satisfy the two 6 pin connections?

If this would not work or it's not recommended to use this psu, please recommend some that are under 120.

It'll work ,depending on CPU you can honestly get away with a good 500w PSU.

In all honesty Id go with something slightly lower wattage & seasonic based.

These are far better quality psu's than the corsairs.

As said above avoid the Corsair CX.

A system with a GTX 970 needs recommended 500w power supply.

The Seasonic G series 550w semi modular 80 Plus Gold rated unit would be an excellent choice at $79. Available from several retailers.

So is the one I stated really that bad of one? The only reason I ask is because I am trying to get one that is in stores at bestbuy so i can get it within the next 2 days.

Is this one any good?

Any of the supplies mentioned above are high quality, Going with any of those is recommended.

The cx750 isn't absolutely terrible ,it will do the job.

The rm650 if available (shown as in stock bestbuy) is $120 but a lot better quality.

Anything you spend money on at BestBuy will be not only much lower quality but also more expensive than the Seasonic units I listed above.

The Corsair CX 750 was the second Corsair unit to fail in independent testing. The first being the RM 750.

The Thermaltake SMART is better than the CX but not in the same league as the Seasonic G units I recommended.

CX and RM's are okay but they're horribly overpriced for what they really are.
