Hi guys I have a asus p5p43td mobo with core 2 quad q8400 processor . I bought corsair 1600fsb 4gb stick(CMV4GX3M1A1600C11) .When I istalled this 1600fsb ram the pc doesnt boot but it boots when I use a 1333fsb ram . The mobo says 1600(O.C) . Is my mobo 1600fsb supported or do i need to overclock ? If so can u guys please help me out with the bios settings to overclock because I dont have any idea about overclocking.

Believe the Corsair sticks use high density memory ICs (4Gb) where the 775 mobos were designed for the lower denisty (2Gb) ICs used back then, so it's a compatibility issue. Most all DRAM made these days uses high density chips
