The BIOS cannot detect my INTEL 530 M.2 SSD 240GB (SSDSCKHW240A401) in BIOS. The disk is put in M2_1 and should not be in conflict with other Sata-ports. Any ideas?

Hi,
I'm Davis from ASRock HQ TSD.

This model support
1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1) which supports M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s)
1 x M.2_SSD (NGFF) Socket 3 (M2_2) which supports M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen2 x2 (10 Gb/s).
http://www.asrock.com.tw/mb/Intel/Z97 Extreme9/?cat=Specifications

And the m.2 ssd you are using is Intel 530, it is SATA type m.2 ssd.
If you want to install SATA type m.2 ssd on this model, please install it on M.2_SSD (NGFF) Socket 3 (M2_2).

Thanks a lot !!
