Hello,

The Gtx 980 ti has come out and i am planning to buy it. I want to use it for next 5 years and get 60fps+ on Ultra in games, thats why im not using it for 4k Gaming. I want to go for 1440p because of this. 4k is too demanding and will be easy to get in next 3 or 4 years. So Please choose a good build for me with the gtx 980 ti in it. I have a budget of $1500. Also please dont choose a high ssd as i only want to install windows in it and make sure u put a 3tb hard drive in the build.

Thank you so much, I'm waiting for your help :)

This is an awesome CPU and MOBO combo, allows for overclocking, hence the CPU cooler.
Over $100 spare to spend on what you want - 16GB RAM, better-looking case, optical drives etc etc.
Hope this helps, and enjoy!

I see. Is this effective for 16GB/32Gb etc as well? For example, 4x4GB?

Yes, tri and quad channel RAM will work in the same way. As I understand, RAM bandwidth is not generally a bottleneck in gaming, so actual performance increases will not correlate directly with the bandwidth increases. Other applications would of course differ if they were more RAM intensive. Dual channel is what is generally recommended for gaming builds although it's probably not absolutely essential over single channel.

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind when upgrading in the future :)
