Played it on maxed out settings and 8x MSAA and the FPS fluctuated to an unplayable extent, so I turned Motion Blur off, Lens Flare off, and Anti-aliasing off altogether and it made no difference.

I becnhmarked with Fraps and I think it said 51fps average, which doesn't seem right and also a 24fps minimum, which does seem right.

I'd be happy to play with 40fps just as long as it stayed there and didn't drop or stutter at all. My build should definitely be able to handle that with FXAA, let alone with no AA at all.

Drivers are up to date. Solutions?

Thanks

While this may not be your problem I've heard of Thermaltakes actually hindering performance in games due to bad current. Part of the reason I didnt buy that exact same PSU.

That was another thing that might be hindering the OP in playing Crisis 3. I checked out the PSU Tier List and didnt see that model which might be cause for concern if it falls into the Tier 4 or 5 catagory.

Is there any OC on the card? Have you adjusted the power usage at all? Other games might not stress the card the same way crysis does. If you can try running it through 3dmark or haven/valley on ultra for a few minutes and see if you get the same kind of stuttering.
