I have a Gateway FX 6840-03e with one Toshiba Pro 256 SSD. I want to add a second and join them as one using RAID 0/Striped. F12 gives me the setup sequence. Del enters BIOS, but I can't find out how to get into the RAID configuration to make both SSDs RAID 0.

What key or how do I get into the screen that shows your disks and lets you choose what RAID setup you want.

thanks

Welcome, rayboyusmc1944!

I believe you should be able to find the instructions for the setup in your motherboard manual. However, you should keep in mind that RAID 0 is risky because the configuration has striping but no redundancy of data, so make sure you do regular backups. Otherwise, if one SSD fails, you'd lose all the data on the drives.
Here's a benchmark article from the community: One SSD vs. Two in RAID - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-raid-benchmark,3485.html
Here's a thread that might give you some steps on how to set up the array - http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1896065/set-ssd-raid-msi-970a-g43.html

Hope this helps you! Good luck! :)
