Can I still connect to my wifi network without a wireless card? Is there something in the mobo that allows me to do so?

Can I still connect to my wifi network without a wireless card? Is there something in the mobo that allows me to do so? I don't want to waste my time and money on researching and buying a wireless card, so I appreciate you for helping me!

Solution
Your motherboard doesn't feature integrated Wireless functionality. But, based on the slot configuration on your motherboard, you will be able to install this hardware and gain wireless functionality. Another, cheaper option would be this one. Other than that, you are pretty much limited in terms of wireless connectivity.

If you have a smartphone, you could connect that one through USB cable to your computer and then use its Wi-Fi connection to access your home network wirelessly. You'd need an app like EasyTether, or check for USB Tethering support.

Wireless cards are what allow you to connect to wireless networks. Are you on a desktop or laptop?
