Should I return GTX970 and get GTX 980ti?

So I wanted to build a new PC and ordered GTX970 (gigabyte windforce edition) already and nvidia decided to release 980ti as that happens...I have the option of returning the card (ncix 15 days policy) but I can't make up my mind if I should do it. The increase in price isn't that big a deal for me but I mostly game in 1080p only. I wanna hear u guys opinions on this as I don't know what's the future for 4k gaming etc.

EDIT: I should mention the other parts are 4690k and a 600W PS

Well, look to those 1-2 years. Then you will be saying the same thing.
New hardware is always around the corner, plan for what you need now, and in the short term.
Looking years in advance and waiting is just going to be always waiting.

I have a 144hz monitor that can somewhat take advantage of the card, however I am not sure if it is a good deal since maybe 1 or 2 years down the road there might be much better cards?
