Do you think its worth to buy high end graphics cards?.
If we see card like 570-580. they are out of the league.
I mean if i buy 980TI now will i be able to play games for next 4-5 years? with at least 30+ fps?
Please reply.

It's simply not possible to predict requirements, with any sort of accuracy, of more then three years in the future. Instead what you need to do is plan to replace your platform every three to four years and budget appropriately. Sit down and determine what you need to comfortable enjoy your computer today, then add another 10~20% to that for potential growth and then purchase that target system. In three years you will need reevaluate your needs and determine if your system is capable of meeting them, or start the whole process over again. This is known as a system's life cycle.

Thanks for the help.
Should i go for 980TI?, I would like to be safe for at least 3 years?. I can upgrade my pc or get one after that.
So anyway if i go for pc upgrade after 3 years, i will have to change my CPU ,GPU and RAM, so that means i will have to start the process again.

Maxed out=best settings? Known as ultra in most games

It also depends highly on resolution and what franes per second you want to achieve and what type of games. Also hoe much do you want spend every three years?

If you want play current games like Witcher 3 and GTA V at very high to ultra settings on 1080p with 60 fps, then the GTX 970 is enough. But to be prepared for the future with modern games and to compete on 1440p / 60 fps, you would at least need the GTX 980 Ti. Or you buy two years later (like me) a second GTX 970. Two of them are stronger than a single Titan X.

That is my own plan.
