I'm thinking to buy a new GTX980TI but not sure if my pc could hold up in term of life span

Here's my specs :

CPU : Intel i7 3770K
GPU : Gigabyte GTX 650 TI 2gb vram
Mobo : ASUS P8Z77-V PRO
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 4gb X 2
PSU : Silverstone 500W (Gonna need to buy new one since GTX980TI need at least 600W PSU)

It's been 3 years I've been rocking this pc with tonne of games and this pc running smooth in those years and obviously this build is for gaming. At some point, surely my pc have lost some of its efficient running games. So, in term of life span, will it be ok to upgrade my gpu? What kind of software/method to check if my pc is good to go for another at least 4-5 years?

Yeah, you should upgrade GPU to 980TI, it's a beast of a card and that 3770K is fine and is still a fast cpu overclocked compared to the 4770K. Are you overclocking now and have you been for the entire time? I think the overclocking will be the most determining factor in regards to processor longevity.

Your 3770K will run 980TI without a hitch and then if it ends up dying in a year or two or 3 or whatever, then it's a simple upgrade of chip and maybe motherboard. I think your motherboard is socket 1150 and the devils canyon i5 4690K and i7 4770K are socket 1155 so depending what processor you buy, you may have to do new mobo.
