How To Run Windows From an USB Flash Drive?

Is there a way to run ANY version of windows from an USB drive? If so how? if not why?

My main drive is full and i dont want to partition it but i want to run another windows from any of the usb flash drives i have empty.

What problem would another copy of the OS fix?

USAFret because my main os is linux and i need a windows os for some programs and my main drive is full. i know i can use oracle vm but i dont want to clear 30-50 gb just to use some windows exclusive programs when i have packs of flash drives with 32 to 64 gb laying around
