Does the GA-H61M-USB3V without any bios or motherboard updates support the i5 2500k CPU

You can use the i5 2500k + the GA-H61M-USB3V w/o the BIOS update , because the F2 version is the 1st version, you are fine.

It actually supports any 1155 CPU without a BIOS update, even Ivy bridge CPUs, be warned that you'll not be able to overclock with that board.
