I've been using a 32bit Windows 7 for several years now. About half a year ago, I upgraded the motherboard, processor and put in an 8gb RAM, but still using the same old 32bit Windows 7. I know it only allows 3gb RAM max, I've been looking forward to upgrading to 64bit Win 7...

Today, I bought an SSD and installed a fresh 64bit Windows 7 into it, with all other HDDs unplugged. The new windows couldn't access my LAN internet connection.

I unplugged the SSD and re-plugged in my old HDD with the old 32bit Win7 and my internet comes back on, which is how am writing this now... I'm just hoping someone would know why this is happening and help me get my new 64bit Win7 residing in the new SSD to function properly..

Thanks!

You may need to install the LAN driver for your motherboard. You can install it from the motherboard drivers disc or if you can't find it, download it from the motherboard's driver support page.
