My motherboard is a

I plan on getting this video card later

video card power connector 2 x 8-Pin

and i have a phentom ii 1090t 125w cpu non OCd but i plan too later

this graphics card recommends 750w but i might need more like 800w maby ?
i need help really bad i have no idea what im doing, i looked on newegg and found this

but i have no clue if it has an 8pin cpu power cord or a 2x8pin pcie thing
 
Normally, a 290X needs a 6 and an 8 pin psu connector.

The card 290X you picked is a highly factory overclocked version that needs 2 8 pin connectors.
The evga 750w has 4 6+8 connectors so you are good there.
6+8 means that the lead can handle either a 6 or 8 pin requirement.

Some of the R9 X cards have had some issues. You might want to see what the upcoming AMD cards have to offer.
