so Im not sure what GPU to get, i was originally leaning towards the GTX 980TI, seems like a decent power house with 95% of the power as the TITAN, but some people said that 2 gtx 980 in ski would be better, and that even a couple 970's in sli would be better. either way I'm planning to wait until the AMD "FIJI" 390 cards come out (both so see what they are packing, and so that the price of the 980TI will come down) so I'm just a bit lost on what to do. this is my first build so I'm fairly new to this kind of thing and could really use a hand, thanks.

well, I'm planning to use a 144hz 1080p monitor, but i need to do 4 things with it which will require a more powerful gpu than a single 970.
1. id like to game in my spare time and id prefer to do it at maxed out settings
2. crypto currency mining
3. a lot of video editing
4. the programs ill be running for college can be pretty gpu intensive as they utilize the gpu as a powerhouse for a lot of the programs, especially animations and a wide array of other things.
correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like a single 970 wouldn't be capable of any of that (unless you mean using a couple 970's in sli)
