So I decided to take the plunge on building my first gaming PC after some convincing from a friend. Originally I had allocated around $1200 for it but after doing some research I have decided $800 (max) is more appropriate.

Anyone out there with a build around this price (or less) that they really like? If you do please comment and share the build and what games you play on it. I'd also be interested in what accessories (monitor/keyboard/mouse) you have as well!

I play MOBAs (Smite/LoL), MMOs(WoW/ESO), FPS games (BF4/CS:Go/etc..).

I would really appreciate any suggestions/help you guys and gals have to offer!

Is an OS necessary if it's just for gaming? I'm trying to decide if I want to get Microsoft office and put it on there. I have only one year left of college and I think my <mod edit> laptop can make it.

Doesn't matter whether you get 7, 8, or 8.1, you will be able to upgrade to 10, for free, when it comes out, for the first year 10 is available. I personally do not like Win 8 or 8.1. I dislike the metro and the start screen that is separate from the traditional desktop. 10 remedies this situation, fortunately.
