I just built my PC and windows 8.1 pro won't install and it says your PC has ran into a problem then shuts off and restarts an itS on a bootable USB

Is it above the system requirements? If no then you have to use windows 7(or 8.0) or older.
If your system is from 2008, it should run all the way to windows 10 build 10122.
If your system is older, it should only run to older windows.

if you running windows 7 that means you can also run windows 8.1 if you are getting this error thats mean that your installation file may be corrupted try to get another setup .
