So I already know that the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO comes with thermal compound, but I have some general questions about applying it and the usage.

1. How often does it need to be applied? Only once? Every week?

2.
How much should I apply?

3. Do I only apply it on the CPU? Or are there other PC components that I should apply it to? e.g. GPU, fan, or any other parts?

Solution
1. Anytime you remove the CPU cooler from the CPU, you should completely clean off the old thermal paste from the CPU and the Heat-sink and apply a new batch on the CPU.

2. Apply it very thinly so you can see thru it or you can use the pea method.

3. Just on the CPU, unless you remove the heat-sink and shroud off your GPU, in that case you'll need to clean it off the GPU and its heatsink and apply it like you did for the CPU.

the evo came with paste on but if you remove the cooler you must clean and repaste cpu cooler use mx2 or mx 4 as paste in a pea spot and no you dont have to repaste every week or so the repaste is made only when you remove cooler from cpu .
